It’s a new concept in Marseille, inspired by the “Kalmunity” collective that has existed for about fifteen years in Montreal!

The “MODJO II” workshop is a unique creative laboratory, open to musicians, lyricists, actors, professionals, or amateurs from various backgrounds. They gather for 5-hour sessions, guided by professionals such as a vocal coach (Tania ZOLTY), a music coach (Jeff KELLNER), and a stage and lyric coach, to create musical compositions together…

Each “MODJO II” forms a unique and diverse group, with places limited to 15 participants, allocated in advance.

During the rehearsal, the goal is to create new musical compositions based on the number of personal texts that participants have to offer.

Participants are required to commit to two sessions:
One Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm (creation & rehearsal).
The following Friday, a public concert (starting at 7 pm for soundcheck, open to the public from 8:30 pm).

Each participant is asked to pay a fee of €40 for both sessions (rehearsal and concert) and the membership fee for the hosting venue if it’s an association.
